The company has announced its intentions to close its Beaver Dam, Wisconsin production facility on or about June 10, 2024. Its warehouse facility is scheduled for closure on January 3, 2025.
The closure will impact 252 employees.
According to a company spokesperson, “Conagra has made the difficult decision to discontinue its production operations and close its facility to improve efficiencies and effectiveness within its supply chain network.”
FEBRUARY 4, 2021 — PLANT CLOSURE WITH 190 EMPLOYEES IN MILWAUKEE, WISCONSIN
Chicago, Illinois-based Conagra Brands, a major packaged foods company that makes and sells products under various brand names available in supermarkets, restaurants, and foodservice establishments, has announced the closure of its Sandwich Brothers frozen breakfast and entree flatbread sandwiches facility located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The closure will impact 190 employees and is scheduled for April 2, 2021.
In a statement filed with the Wisconsin Bureau of Workforce Training, "Conagra will be discontinuing its production operations and closing its facility located at 7620 N. 81st Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53223 (the “Milwaukee Facility”) to improve efficiencies and effectiveness within its supply chain network.
