Racine, Wisconsin-based Modine Manufacturing, a manufacturer of commercial, industrial, and vehicular heating, cooling, and ventilation products, has announced a reduction in force at its Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, LB2 manufacturing facility.
The reduction in force will impact 162 employees and will be completed by July 31, 2025. The division being closed is related to agriculture, mining and large commercial vehicles.
According to a company spokesperson, “This difficult decision was made in response to well-publicized weakness in the broader agriculture and heavy equipment markets. This reduction only applies to this facility.”
Change is coming. There will always be a tomorrow, no matter how much you may try to ignore it. There are no guarantees in life or promises for a bright future. We see good people being laid off through no fault of their own. Just because something terrible hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. It can happen to anyone, anytime, anywhere. No one is guaranteed to wake up tomorrow and still have a job by evening. While many employees can read the writing on the wall, why do most assume it’s targeted at someone else? Are you now wondering, Am I Next?
